The porterhouse comes from the end of the sirloin, the bit immediately behind the ribs on a beast. Being that far back, it has a big bit of lovely ternderloin. These steaks are cut thick, weigh approx. 1kg and each pack contains four.
To cook, simply season with salt and pepper, fry to your liking and then serve whole or sliced over salad, vegetables or lentils.

Beautiful cut, melt in the mouth and not heavy after. Loved it, i ate three nights in a row.

These were fabulous. We simply pre-seasoned with olive oil, salt, and pepper, tossed them on the grill, and served with a homemade herb butter on top. Can't wait to make again!
